Emotional Intelligence Grows Leaders, Teams
Discover what you need to become an emotionally effective leader and be successful in today’s changing and complex environment.
“If you’re a leader and you want to mobilize your team, one of the first things you can do…is listen to them. Empathy is a critical skill to begin with for leaders because by understanding where people are coming from, you’ll have a better handle on how to motivate those people and what’s important to them. That’s the first step in your ability to influence people, and influencing people is a critical skill for leaders.”
DR. Steven Stein, CEO MHS
What is emotional intelligence?
Emotional Intelligence (EI) can be defined as a set of emotional and social skills that influence the way we perceive and express ourselves, develop and maintain social relationships, cope with challenges, and use emotional information in an eective and meaningful way.
Why is it important?
Emotional Intelligence is proven to be a key indicator of human performance and development. People higher in EI communicate eff ectively, form strong relationships, and create powerful coping strategies. EI can be measured – more accessibly and less controversially than IQ – and unlike IQ, it can be substantially strengthened and developed.

If your emotional abilities aren’t in hand, if you don’t have self-awareness, if you are not able to manage your distressing emotions, if you can’t have empathy and have effective relationships, then no matter how smart you are, you are not going to get very far. ~ Daniel Goleman

EQ-i 2.0 Reports
Perform Powerful 360 Reviews Using the EQ-i 2.0
EQ 360 Assessment Tool
The EQ 360 Assessment builds upon the EQ-i 2.0® self-report assessment to include the perceptions of those people around you, providing a more complete 360 degree profile. When choosing to participate in an EQ 360 Assessment, it not only identifies your level of emotional and social functioning, based on your responses from the EQ-i 2.0® , it also provides a more in-depth analysis by having those who work with you provide information as well. For this reason, the EQ 360 is also known as the Multi-Rater Assessment. The Multi-Rater or 360 degree assessment combines your own perceptions of your EQ with the perceptions of others who know you well.
The EQ 360 identifies key employee strengths that can be leveraged to the benefit of the organization, as well as impediments to high performance that could be improved.
The EQ 360 is an excellent way to get a picture of your current emotional operating system, your areas of strength, potential areas for development and how others in your work environment experience and perceive you.
