Emotional Intelligence (EI) can be defined as a set of emotional and social skills that influence the way we perceive and express ourselves, develop and maintain social relationships, cope with challenges, and use emotional information in an eective and meaningful way.

Why is it important?

Emotional Intelligence is proven to be a key indicator of human performance and development. People higher in EI communicate eff ectively, form strong relationships, and create powerful coping strategies. The EQ 360 Assessment builds upon the EQ-i 2.0® self-report assessment to include the perceptions of those people around you, providing a more complete 360 degree profile.  When choosing to participate in an EQ 360 Assessment, it not only identifies your level of emotional and social functioning, based on your responses from the EQ-i 2.0® , it also provides a more in-depth analysis by having those who work with you pro­vide information as well.  For this reason, the EQ 360 is also known as the Multi-Rater Assessment. The Multi-Rater or 360 degree assessment combines your own perceptions of your EQ with the perceptions of others who know you well.
